What is MCP and why does this matter?

Model Context Protocol is Anthropic's open standard for letting AI clients call local tools. You install a config snippet, the client starts the server on stdio, and your AI can call your tools by name. Same install works for Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, and any future MCP client.

For an indie operator running a stack of SaaS dashboards, this turns admin work from "open dashboard, click around, find the thing, edit, confirm" into "hey Claude, downgrade alice@example.com to the starter plan at period end".

Coming soon

Vol. 2 will cover Linear, Notion, GitHub, Supabase, and Postgres. Get on the list - I'll only email when something ships.
